FIELD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION
Power-Tech Engineers, Inc., is seeking qualified electrical engineers in Power Systems for field construction supervision and commissioning of control and protection improvements in medium and high voltage substations. Responsible for the test and start-up of electrical systems at substations from 4.8kV to 34.5kV. Oversee the retrofit of substations with solid state relays. Coordinate and supervise progressive cutover construction work, by construction forces, consisting of the removal of old electrical wiring/equipment and the installation of new wiring/equipment in operating substations. Perform wiring check, new control system functional test, protection system test and supervise re-energization of the electrical system. Provide marked-up, as-built drawings of retrofitted system. Provide complete test reports . JOBS REQUIREMENTS The candidate shall have:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least three years of either related field experience or design experience
- Familiar with protective relays
- Familiar with breaker control schemes
- Familiar with substation apparatus
- Able to read and trace schematic and wiring control and protection drawings
- Familiar with basic electrical test equipment
- Good communication skills
- California Driver License
- Authorization to work in the USA

RELAY TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Power-Tech Engineers, Inc., is seeking qualified Protection Relay Technicians with experience in electrical substations and/or generating stations for the commissioning of control and protection retrofit projects. Responsible for testing microprocessor based relays (i. e., SEL, Siemens, GE, etc.), CTs, PTs and high voltage circuit breaker control schemes. Substations range in voltage from 4.8kV to 500kV. Perform wiring check, control scheme functional operation checks, current injection with Doble equipment for functional operation of protective scheme, among other control and protection retrofit checks. Provide marked-up, as-built drawings of retrofitted system. Provide complete test reports . JOBS REQUIREMENTS The candidate shall have:
- Trade School Diploma or Equivalent Education
- At least three years of relevant field experience
- Familiar with microprocesor based protective relays
- Familiar with breaker control schemes
- Familiar with substation apparatus
- Able to read and trace schematic and wiring control and protection drawings

ELECTRICAL TEST TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION Power-Tech Engineers, Inc., is seeking qualified electrical test technicians with experience in electrical substations and/or generating stations for the commissioning of control and protection retrofit projects. Assist Field Electrical Engineers in the test and start-up of electrical systems at substations from 4.8kV to 34.5kV. Perform wiring check, equipment and wiring meggering, protective relay testing, hi-pot test of high voltage equipment, functional checking circuit breaker control and protection schemes and other testing activities related to the retrofit of substations. Provide marked-up, as-built drawings of retrofitted system. Provide complete test reports.

AUTOCAD OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION Power-Tech Engineers, Inc., is seeking qualified CAD Operators proficient in AutoCAD, with experience in electrical drafting, preferably of generating stations, substations, etc., i.e., electrical utilities. Responsible for preparing CAD based drawings, either vector or raster based. Able to understand wiring schemes and/or prepared as-builts from field surveys. Work under the directions of an electrical engineer. Prepare construction drawings, demolition drawings and as-built drawings of retrofitted system.

- At least three years of AutoCAD experience
