PTEI Engineers, Inc. is a consulting firm providing services for the water, waste water, electric and telecommunication utility industry. It is mainly conformed of mature professionals in the electrical, mechanical, structural and civil disciplines, most with over 30 years of engineering experience each.
PTEI was founded in 1992 and became incorporated on 1999. It is a certified Minority Owned Business with headquarters in Walnut, California. Most of our professionals bring a lifetime of experience by working for various water, waste water, power and telecommunication utilities as well as for the large private industry. Our staff has the experience of planning, designing and constructing some of the most extensive transmission/distribution systems, power plants, pumping stations, water pipelines nd aqueducts in the Western United States. Additional expertise includes the design, construction and maintenance of the telecommunication, automation and control infrastructure.
Our expertise lies in all aspects of the utility industry. In the electric power area, our expertise includes: planning and designing of transmission/sub-transmission systems; design, operation and maintenance of generating stations (coal, oil, gas and hydro); design and installation of receiving, switching and distributing stations among other power systems. In the water industry, our expertise includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of pumping facilities, water treatment facilities, hydro-power plants, main transmission and distribution water lines, and automation and integration of control and protection systems.
